About the event

RSVP to join fellow WOTS members at the beer tent for the Sept 1 Frisco Concert in the Park.  All proceeds earned benefit the Women of The Summit non profit causes.  This includes our newest initiative the Women In Business Grant.  This new grant invests in women in our community in either their Entrepreneurial or Executive efforts to grow their income stream and their impact in our community.

Women of the Summit has been selected as Frisco's Concerts in the Park benefactor on Thursday, 9/1/2022!!!

This is a great opportunity to volunteer to support our causes AND connect to the local community!

ABOUT VOLUNTEERING:

Shift is from 4:30 - 8:00 pm

This volunteer effort  involves running a beverage/refreshment booth for the Town of Frisco during the concert.

Volunteers will divide responsibilities like ID checks, issuing wristbands, taking drink orders, collecting funds, pouring beverages, etc. Volunteers are scheduled to arrive 4:30 for set up and duty delegation, and the Town of Frisco will help with dis-assembly afterwards till at least 8 pm.

ABOUT THE CONCERT

Starts at 5:30pm and ends at 7:30 with at least one intermission.

Featuring:  Knight Groove is a powerful funk-blues-jazz musical adventure into the depths of groove eclecticism. Heavily influenced by The Meters, Allman Brothers, James Brown, and Led Zeppelin, Knight Groove delivers a dance beat with creative musical arrangements and classic rock riffs. Knight Groove has added Tom Marsh on Keys and Brian Mahanke on sax, trumpet, flute, and flugelhorn, which has completed the Knight Groove sound.
